Frequently Asked Questions

Leaseora supports a wide range of file formats, including PDF, Microsoft Office documents (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX), image files (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF), text files (TXT, RTF), and more. The maximum file size for a single document is 50MB on standard plans and 100MB on Premium and Enterprise plans. If you need to upload larger files, you can contact support for assistance.

Leaseora employs enterprise-grade security measures to protect your documents. All files are encrypted both in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest (using AES-256 encryption). Our servers are hosted in secure data centers with multiple redundancies and regular security audits. Access controls ensure that only authorized users can view sensitive documents. Additionally, we maintain compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. For more details, you can review our security whitepaper in the Help Center.

Yes, Leaseora's mobile app includes a document scanning feature that allows you to convert paper documents to digital format. Simply open the app, go to Documents, tap the "+" button, and select "Scan Document." The app will use your device's camera to capture the document, automatically enhance the image quality, straighten the edges, and convert it to a PDF. For multi-page documents, you can scan each page in sequence. Once scanned, you can add metadata, link it to properties or tenants, and save it to your document library. For Premium and Enterprise users, the app also includes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology that makes the text in scanned documents searchable.

Leaseora allows you to create and manage document templates for frequently used forms and agreements. To create a template, go to "Documents" > "Templates" > "Create Template." You can either upload an existing document to use as a template or create one from scratch using our template editor. Within templates, you can add dynamic fields that will be automatically populated with property, tenant, or lease information when you generate a document from the template. You can also include conditional sections that appear only when certain conditions are met. Once created, templates can be used to quickly generate customized documents for specific properties or tenants, saving you time and ensuring consistency across your documentation.
